It’s a big day for a classical musician, as years of training culminate in his first rehearsal. Written, performed and filmed by Racing Minds. Music by Skidmore College Orchestra (under CC License). http://www.racingminds.co.uk
We here at Comedy Nerds United are starting to realize that we can’t possibly cover all of the comedy alone, so we’re looking for some fresh new recruits to help us out! As a CNtributor, you would be able to publish your own articles/funny material at will for all of our followers to see, help us gather and post comedy news, and promote comedy shows in your own area!
Interested? Send us your answers to the following questions and we’ll work on putting together a team of the best and brightest candidates that we think will really help the site become what we always wanted it to be! ComedyNerdsUnited.com is an Equal Opportunity Employer*
1. Contact info: (name, email, twitter handle, tumblr url) 2. Why do you consider yourself a Comedy Nerd? 3 Favorites: (comedian, comedy tv show, comedy movie, podcast) 4. Last Live Comedy show/event you attended: 5. Do you write original content (essays, articles, etc). If so, link us to it! 6. What makes you stand out from the rest of the comedy nerds? 7. Propose a regular segment that you’d like to see on CNU. 8. Pancakes or waffles? Why? 9. Impress us. 10. Anything else you’d like to tell us?
We’ll be accepting applications until August 15th. Mark it down, suckas!

A sketch I wrote and directed for NaSkeWriMo last year - promoting today for Star Trek’s 46th anniversary!
I’m in this! Only, because of one of the big support beams in the UCB audience, I’m completely invisible in this video!
So, there ate two possible solutions. Either assume I’m like an alien member of the crew from a race that’s just like an unseen being of light, or pretend I’m in a separate radio play while everyone else is doing Poupak’s sketch! Either way, fun!
Ps. I’m helping organize this year’s NaSkeWriMo show. Details aren’t finalized yet but it will definitely be a whole lot of fun!
This could be you! You could be Jon Bershad! (You can’t be Jon Bershad, Jon Bershad is Jon Bershad)
There are plans in the work for shows in NYC, Chicago, and a few folks are starting up conversations about a meet up in LA—join the conversation on our facebook page!
One week is through—are you up to seven sketches? Keep writing y’all!
I have a halfway decent and very producible video sketch idea that I want to try and make. If you’re in any way interested as an actor, director, editor, etc please let me know. People with a lot of Twitter followers think it’s a funny sketch!
